Snow Day

We woke up Thursday morning February 1, 2007 to a great surprise. It was snowing! The boys had such a big week with airplane rides, Disney World, and snow!! It was supposed to snow until 11AM, but by the time I got them dressed and outside at 9:30 it had already started to rain. I let the boys run around the house and backyard for a few minutes, but quickly brought them in which made them very sad. Maybe we'll get lucky and it will snow again before this winter ends.

Charlie had little snow boots that I purchased for $3 last year on clearance. It took him a few minutes to figure out how to walk in them, but once he got the hang of it he thought they were great!

Charlie also has a hand me down little snow suit from cousin Renee! It was a perfect fit!

Charlie took off in the snow. He had no fear!

John Christian went sliding down and told me he was snow skiing!
He really wanted to build a snowman, but there just wasn't enough snow once the rain started.
