My Birthday Dinner

My family (minus Zach & Stephen) got together to celebrate my birthday in our traditional way. We all had dinner at the Japanese Restaurant. Growing up eating at a Japanese place was always one of our favorite ways to celebrate events. We hadn't done this in years & it was fun to share the tradition with the little ones!

My mom gave me an extra special surprise. For my birthday she gave me the Sapphire and diamond ring that her father had made for her on her 30th Birthday. I still remember when my mom got that ring and what a big deal it was. I was truly shocked that she decided to give it to me now. I will always treasure it especially knowing what it means to my mom.
