On Friday Charlie and I helped out at the preschool. It's not his normal day, but his teacher's sister died. So, we went to play with the Friday children. At this age many of the children only come one day a week.
While we were there the school had a fire drill. All of the little ones in Charlie's class are put into a crib with wheels and rolled to the end of the parking lot where it is safe. Here are the children when we got back into the classroom. Charlie did ok at first, but then decided as usual that he did not like being confined and wanted out!!

At snack time Charlie decided that he liked another little boys cheese balls much better than his mini vanilla wafers. I looked up and they had kind of traded. Charlie was eating the cheese balls and the other kid was reaching over and taking Charlie's cookies. It was very funny!

Everybody loves Nanaw! John Christian adored her when he was in her class. At the end of the day I was very happy to see Charlie get out of my lap and crawl over to Nanaw's lap. It's nice to know that he is in a fun loving environment where he is starting to feel safe!
Prior to him finally tiring out he climbed on the 2nd shelf of the toy shelves and laid down as if he was going to take a nap there! He is quite the little climber!
