A Field Trip To The Pumpkin Patch
Last Friday Charlie & I joined John Christian on his school field trip to the pumpkin patch. We had a fun hay ride pulled by a tractor, but Charlie had a hard time sitting still. He wanted to jump off the back of the trailer or walk down it's little steps. It made me and the other moms a little nervous!
John Christian had a lot of fun looking around at the corn, eggplants, pumpkins, & other things that were planted on this tiny farm. When it was over they gave us 2 little pumpkins and we also purchased a big one for our house. John Christian did ask me, "Where is the pumpkin patch? When are we going to see it?" I admit I think we were both expecting to walk through a giant pumpkin patch and pick out our own pumpkin. Oh well. At least we know what to expect next year & we did have fun anyway!
