Please Continue To Pray

Hello! I sent an e-mail out to friends & family recently asking for extra special prayers. Then, I decided to post my request on this blog. I realized that there are people out there that read this blog b/c there are links to it on other friend's blogs. So, to anyone out there reading this I have a most urgent & important request for you.

Here is the letter I sent earlier:

I don't even know where to begin. I know many of you haven't heard from me in a while. Life has been a little crazy. I am once again asking you to add someone to your own personal prayer list & your church's prayer list. Heck, you could even ask a stranger on the street! As we all know prayer is a powerful thing!

Zach's stepfather Brent Sexton has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. He is doing radiation 5 times a week. The doctors are saying that he has 9 months left to live his life. I am pretty much speechless about the whole thing. What I can tell you about Brent is that he is a wonderful & kind man who loves his 2 children more than anything & who has treated me as a part of the family since the day he met me.

Brent & I have communicated a little through e-mail & from what I can tell he has an amazing spirit. He says stats are just numbers & he is living each day at a time. He is on the prayer list at my church & I told him I would ask all of my friends to do the same.

Thank you for always being supportive & for remembering Brent, Nancy (Zach's mom), Travis & Mandy (Brent's children), & even Zach in your prayers.
