I did not start blogging until Charlie was about 6 months old. So, for his 2nd birthday I thought I would share a few of my favorite photos from the beginning!
Brothers
For his first Halloween he was a "Charlie Horse" and John Christian went as a cowboy. I didn't actually think about him being a Charlie Horse until someone pointed it out. I just thought it was cute he was a horse and JC was a Cowboy. Charlie, however, was not thrilled about wearing a costume that neighed!
Zach had to go back to Iraq when Charlie was just 10 days old. This picture is of Charlie and Zach when he returned home that November just before Charlie was 3 months old!
Who would have thought he'd miss both of the boys 2nd birthdays due to being deployed!
Charlie was baptized in Jan 06.
January 06
February 06.
Charlie loved this Johnny Jumper!

Charlie's Hands in mine.
I know one day all too soon it will be the quite the opposite, and my hands will fit in his!
Brand New Baby Charles William
We were so glad your dad made it home from Iraq for your birth, & that the doctor gave in and decided to induce me on the 26th. It was a long labor, but very much worth the wait!
John Christian was overjoyed at meeting his new baby brother. He was also thrilled to see his mom because he spent 2 nights in our house away from me which he had never done! The longest we had been apart was for about 14 hours when he was 7 months old!

The Night Before the big # 2 Birthday!
Look at how you've grown over the past 2 years!
You are becoming such a big boy!
2 years ago at this time (9:30PM) I was still in labor anxiously awaiting your arrival!
Charlie and John Christian did not sleep well last night and woke each other up which made for very sleepy boys this morning!
We could not wrap Charlie's tractor. So, John Christian hid it underneath the blanket. He gave it to Charlie for his first present. We also had Colonel's Secret Recipe Grits for breakfast which is Charlie's favorite breakfast!

Good Morning Birthday Boy!
Charlie thought I was a little crazy when I came into the room with the camera first thing in the morning!
