Milestones

On Saturday I must have really lost my mind. After Friday night's excursion to Eckerds I didn't know if I'd ever leave the house, but we needed a few things from Target. I also didn't feel like fixing lunch. I decided to go through the drive thru at McDonald's. On the way there I explained to John Christian that his mom's nerves couldn't take another public disaster and that we would most likely not go into McDonalds. I also told him there would be a ton of children and I couldn't take the noise. He thought about this for a few minutes. Then, he suckered me by saying, "Mom, we can go inside and play. I will talk to the children and teach them how to be quiet for you!"

We did go inside to eat & play. John Christian and Charlie were the best little boys!! Perfect Angels! To top it off John Christian went to the top and came down the slide all by himself. It was one of his proudest moments. It was one of mine too because I have had to climb up and get him just about every time we've gone. I guess he's just growing up!
