An Afternoon With Paw Paw
Father's Day - Sunday, June 18, 2006
We went to Spartanburg for one of Zach's best friends & John Christian's Godfather Gordon's wedding. (Wow, that was a mouthful!) Paw Paw has been talking about taking John Christian for a ride on this train in Cleveland Park for months & he finally had the opportunity! Paw Paw's grandfather took him on the train & Zach also rode when he was little. We are glad that the park has been fixed up & that the train is still running so that the tradition could continue with the Hyleman Men!
John Christian wanted to ride in the very front for the first 2 rides!
Mr. Conductor let John Christian help drive!
We tried to get John Christian to wave goodbye to the train, but he did not want to go! So, we bought another ticket. This time he & Paw Paw rode in the back.
