Update On My Aunt

My Aunt Joanne had her surgery last Friday & things went great! I have never in my life known such a faithful fearless person. Before her major surgery we had several wonderful honest conversations. She told me she is not afraid of death because she knows God is always looking out for her & that life can only get better in heaven. Through all of this I have learned to respect her even more. I only wish my family lived closer to her because my boys could only benefit from having someone like her in their lives.

The good news with her is that they were able to remove the entire blockage in her intestines without it flaking off & causing more clots. The kidney they thought was dead came back to life once the blockage was removed & the drs think it may soon function normally. She did loose her Gaul bladder & I think there are other issues, but as a whole we think she will be able to eventually go back home & live her live as she sees fit. Thanks to everyone who said special prayers for her. They were obviously heard!
