John Christian's 1st Field Trip
John Christian's 2 year old class went to Jammbas Ranch on Tuesday, May 2. I really am trying to organize the pictures in some kind of order since I am so far behind! Anyway, it is a big farm - petting zoo place. There were American Bison, an Ostrich, Camels, Emus, ducks, deer, dogs, & just about anything else you could imagine.

Miss Patty (in pink) & Miss Gresham (pointing) are John Christian's teachers trying to organize everyone when we arrived.

Several of the kids thought it would be fun to climb into this mini round up pin.

Poor Charlie was so tired & the sun was in his eyes all day! He was a pretty good sport!
The children all enjoyed the older gentleman that runs the ranch. He showed them turtle shells, snake skins, & live crawfish.

John Christian stuck with Ramon & his mom Laura most of the day. I think he'd like to adopt them both & have them move in with us.

Fun on the merry go round!

Almost out!

John Christian was very excited about the alligator! I think it was his favorite part. Miss Gresham held him up to see. There was only a little fence in between us & the gator. I was a little nervous about that!

They called this a "hay ride", but really we rode around in a wooden trailer pulled by a tractor with no hay. The children really enjoyed this part!

Charlie finally fell asleep just before we got onto the hay ride. He slept through most of it! Several of the children had a great time pushing the stroller. I had to be careful b/c some just started to push him all over without even telling me!

John Christian & Caroline

Miss Patty just loves Charlie! Sometimes John Christian is not too happy about this b/c Miss Patty belongs to him!

John Christian & Michael (striped shirt) are coming out of the bat cave. I'm not sure who the other little boy is. He goes on MWF.

Getting ready to go over the swing bridge.

John Christian went over the swing bridge with Miss Laura & Ramon. I wasn't too sure about taking Charlie over on the stroller.

John Christian was thrilled to no longer be on the swing bridge. He is kin to his father & a little scared of heights!
