Moving To Cameron

On Friday, March 9, 2007 my dad and his childhood friend who I call Uncle Earl drove up to Fort Bragg to help us move. I had professional movers early that morning as well, but I still had lots of work for Dad and Uncle Earl to include getting an additional trailer and loading it. The 26 Foot Truck just wasn't enough! Boy do we have a lot of stuff!! We made it to Cameron that night all in one piece, and on Saturday we started to unload everything into the house.

Stephen came to the rescue Saturday morning! He is my hero!! He brought 5 college boys and his girlfriend Liz to help out! My longtime friends Christy and Melissa came as well as Melissa's husband Elliott. My friend Melanie brought her daughter Magaret who is now John Christian's new good friend, & they helped put the playroom together. Even my Uncle Charles came down from Rock Hill. If I'm leaving anyone out I apologize! That day was a crazy one, but I was so blessed to have each and everyone of you there! I am also thankful that my Mom was able to keep Charlie at her house on Saturday and Sunday so that I could get some actual work done!

On Sunday my friend Emily stopped by with her mom. Emily made meals to keep in my freezer and her mom brought books for the boys. Melissa also brought meals for my freezer! It's so nice to be at home and receive such royal treatment from friends!!

It's still kind of a mess, but maybe we'll have the boxes unpacked before it's time to move again!

I took John Christian to get a few new spring clothes and a newer backpack for school. This is his new favorite shirt! Luckily, it came in yellow too and I went back and bought that one a week later!
