Leaving the Truck in Cameron

On Saturday afternoon February 24, 2007 we loaded a Uhaul trailer with all of the boys' backyard toys to include the swing set. Zach wanted to drive slow b/c of the trailer, but I think he also wanted to enjoy one last long drive in his Toyota Truck! Charlie and I followed in the van, but eventually John Christian decided he needed to ride with me in order to keep Charlie company in the backseat. Both boys were troopers b/c the normal 2 1/2 hour drive took almost 5 on the back roads!!

We finally made it to Cameron sometime after dark. We had a short visit with the family, but as always it was good to see everyone no matter how much time we got to spend. On Sunday Zach and the boys ate lunch with Nana and Papa Brent at John Christian's favorite restaurant "The Cracker Barrel." Meanwhile, I was in bed at my Mom & Dad's with yet another stomach bug! At the time I wasn't sure what it was other than I felt awful!!

I realized it was a bug b/c both boys eventually got sick. Lucky for Zach he never got it. At least I can say other than John Christian throwing up in the car just as we were pulling away from Cameron the virus was not nearly as bad as ones we've had in the past. This one only lasted around 24 hours. Anyway, the boys said they had a good time visiting at the Cracker Barrel, but since I wasn't there I didn't get any photos. I just hope we didn't pass the virus along to anyone else and that we are done with these for a while!!

While we were there we had an early birthday celebration for Zach.

Poor Zach seems to always be gone on his birthday, but this year we caught him early and will probably do it again when he comes home! After all it's not every day you turn 30!!
Maybe he and I will skip town and head off to Vegas for the weekend when he comes home!!

I know there are lots of similar photos, but since rarely pull out the video camera it is nice to capture everything that happens!

Charlie pointed out that he candles were "HOT", but other than that he wasn't very interested.

"Make a Wish!"

Yeah!!

We were so happy to see baby Sarah. She has grown so much since we last saw her at the hospital just a few hours after she made her grand entrance into the world.

Sarah Elizabeth almost 7 weeks old!

Charlie loves his cousin Thomas, but when he leaves he waves and says, "Bye Bye Choo Choo!" It is absolutley hysterical!!
