Popsicles

One of our favorite things to do on a warm afternoon besides play outside is to sit on the deck & eat popsicles. Charlie decided that he wanted to eat mine. One thing I have learned is never to take anything from Charlie unless I am prepared for a major screaming fit! I hope this is not a sign of things to come! At least he's a man who actually knows what he wants.

I've been checking his gums daily. The Pediatrician has been telling me since November that a tooth should pop through at any moment. Finally, his bottom left gum was very swollen & Zach & I were both able to see a small toothpick size spot where a tooth is starting to pop out! Maybe the popsicle helped!

Charlie also slept from 7:30 PM to 7:00AM! I only went in 1 time at 2 Am to give him his pacifier! Maybe he is finally feeling better and getting back to his old happy self! Let's say a little prayer that this is true! He's had a hard winter!

Molly is in one of the photos. She kept trying to get Charlie's popsicle. He was not happy about that!

John Christian was nervous about eating his popsicle because it was red. He always reminds me that he is allergic to red stuff. I am trying to teach him that some things are naturally red like his Strawberry Popsicle & that if it is naturally red it is safe to eat. Maybe he'll get lucky & grow out of his allergy before he needs to understand it! At least he knows that red stuff makes him sick & he could tell someone if I wasn't around. Are 2 year olds supposed to be this smart?
