Day 2 : The North Carolina Zoo
Saturday morning we packed up the car & headed off to the North Carolina Zoo just a few miles from our cabin. It was another gorgeous day! It was also very crowded since it was a Saturday & most people's spring breaks. Oh well! We at least made it through the North America section! It's only an hour & a 1/2 from home. So, we'll go back another day to see the Elephants, Tigers, & Monkeys in Africa! Besides, we have 2 perfectly good monkeys living here with us at our house!
Charlie started out alert & in a great mood! I think this was after nap 1!
He is even getting much better at drinking from his sippy cup!
John Christian did a lot of riding on Zach's shoulders or being carried by me! In this photo he was actually up that high to watch the seals being fed. The other times he just didn't want to ride in the stroller. Can you say Rotten?

Charlie had 2 naps at the zoo. This was one of them.
When we live in Oklahoma I never took a picture of the Buffalo. So, here are some at the NC Zoo! :)
