Happy Birthday Charlie!

Charlie is 7 months old today! You would never know it in these photos, but he has really not been feeling so great! He has not let me put him down for the past week. He's been double whammied with his cold - cough & the stomach virus. I was happy to capture some smiles for the camera! Usually the flash makes him get all serious! I will say that less than 10 minutes after the photo was taken Charlie's diaper leaked onto my lap! He got a bath. Then, he puked all over me & the kitchen floor! Fun Fun!!

Really, when he's not sick (which has not been often this winter) he is the best baby. I cannot imagine us without him! He is just so neat! We love having him around. John Christian seems pretty fond of him as well!

Lately, Charlie has become fond of our dog Molly. He is fascinated by her! Whenever she gets close & is in his eyesight he starts to jump up and down and squeal. If she moves far away or where he can't see her he yells & gets mad.

Charlie's other new trick is that he can get up on his hands and knees & rock back & forth. I've only seen him do this when he is extremely angry. Lately that is when one of us finally gets him to sleep & tries to put him in his crib. Temper temper!! It's not very fitting for a guy who can be so fun loving. He may be the second child, but so far he can never say that he goes without attention! That boy loves to be held & we love to hold him! (most of the time - sometimes I'd like to sleep alone) :)

**In one of the photos you can see a white plastic thing & clear tubing. They are part of the nebulizer we've been using to help with his wheezing and cough since February.
