Stephen's College Graduation

On Friday, May 4, 2007 the graduation ceremonies for Presbyterian College began. It was a first for Charlie because he spent the night away from me in Spartanburg with his PawPaw. John Christian has spent 3 nights away from me. 2 of those were at our house when I was having Charlie. The other was with my Aunt Beth in Greensboro, NC when he was 7 months old for my friend Kat's wedding. Needless to say it was strange to be without them! They had a great time with their dad's family and Spartanburg, & I had a good time at the graduation festivities which they would not have enjoyed due to the pouring down rain!

On Friday night John prepared a wonderful dinner for our family along with Stephen's roommates and their families. After we stuffed ourselves silly we headed over to the Baccalaureate Service. I must admit that the pastor gave the best sermon - speech I have ever heard! It was fabulous! I also had a really great seat and Stephen ended up directly in front of me just a few rows up.

John did a great job with the food for the pre-baccalaureate dinner in the common area of Stephen's Dorm.

I don't know what all John put in this beef, but we all agreed it was 5 Star Quality!
