The Dentist

Well, we finally got around to taking John Christian to the dentist. I don't feel that bad since he didn't get his first tooth until about a month before his first birthday, but still it was well over due. We also took Charlie because he has 8 teeth.

They simply looked in Charlie's mouth to start getting him comfortable with seeing a dentist. He did pretty good and the dentist said his teeth look great!

John Christian was a perfect Angel!! In fact the dental hygienist and dentist said they wish all of their patients were that good. He sat still for x-rays and even let them clean his teeth. Dentist offices have changed since I was younger. They really took their time to explain what was going on and even showed him a video about dental care with a monkey as the main character. I was impressed! The only yucky part was that on our way out John Christian threw up. His sweet father tried to catch some of it, but luckily we were steps from a bathroom. John Christian was still nice after he threw up & I hope this doesn't deter him in the future.
